I always loved this quote from Gladiator. The group steps up to the Roman Colosseum in awe.
Maybe it's because the Colosseum has always impressed me or just my appreciation for building construction. Either way, I enjoy it.
I get that same feeling standing at the base of the Roger's Arena. Looking up at all the structure, I seem to get the feeling more from looking at a building during construction than a finished building.
Something about seeing the intricacies of the steel and the "bone structure" of a building. Something you don't see on the finished product. It always impresses me.
